Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information EasySoft IT Solutions collects when you use VeyanoGH, why, and how we protect it. We handle personal data in line with Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

1. What we collect

  • Account details: your name, phone number, email (if you give one) and a securely scrambled version of your password (we cannot read your password).
  • Delivery details: the addresses, landmarks, GhanaPost GPS addresses and phone numbers you give for delivery.
  • Orders and messages: what you buy or sell, reviews, reports of problems and the messages sent through them.
  • Payments: the amount, time and reference of each payment, and the MoMo network or card type. Card numbers and PINs are handled by Paystack and never reach us.
  • For sellers: business details, a copy of your Ghana Card and, for registered businesses, your registration certificate; and the MoMo or bank account you want to be paid to.
  • Technical information: your internet (IP) address, basic device and browser information, and small cookies that keep you signed in and remember your cart. If we use Google Analytics, it collects anonymous visit statistics.

2. Why we use it

  • To run your account, process orders and payments, and get your order to you.
  • To keep VeyanoGH safe: confirming phone numbers, checking sellers, stopping fraud, and protecting payouts.
  • To send you messages about your orders, account and security by SMS or email. We do not send marketing messages unless you agree to them.
  • To settle problems between buyers and sellers, and to meet our legal and accounting duties.

3. Who we share it with

  • The seller of your order receives your name, phone number and delivery address, only to fulfil that order. Sellers must not use them for anything else.
  • Service providers who help us run VeyanoGH: Paystack (payments), our SMS provider (text messages), and our web hosting company. They may only use your data to provide their service to us.
  • Authorities when the law requires it, or to report fraud.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Seller documents

Ghana Card and business documents are stored in a private area that cannot be reached from the internet. Only authorised VeyanoGH staff can view them, only to verify sellers, and each viewing is recorded.

5. How we protect it

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), scrambled passwords, one-time SMS codes for sensitive actions, limited staff access, and records of important actions. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will act quickly if something goes wrong.

6. How long we keep it

We keep account information while your account is open. Order and payment records are kept for as long as needed for accounting, tax and legal purposes, and to handle disputes. Verification codes expire after minutes and are stored only in scrambled form.

7. Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Some records (for example completed orders and payments) must be kept by law, but we will remove what we can. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
